Hair, by its very nature, needs oil. Sebum, which forms on the scalp, nourishes and hydrates naturally. When it is not enough, the hair is dry, brittle and breaks. It needs to get nutrients from elsewhere, and natural oil is an ideal choice.
What is hair oil?
Hair oils consist of a base oil and a combination of essential oils. Essential oils are organic and natural and evaporate directly into the hair after application. The hair thus remains smooth until the next application.
The base oil used is usually cold pressed. The reason why this type of oil is used is for the product to keep its qualities and to remain unaltered for as long as possible.
Products that contain only one type of oil, also called pure oil, are the ideal choice if you have damaged hair. Their role is to replace the oils that our scalp naturally produces to protect the hair.
Amazing effects of natural oils on hair:
- Stimulates hair growth.
- Fights dry scalp and dandruff.
- Adds shine to hair.
- Nourishes the hair.
- Prevents hair damage due to high temperatures during styling.
- And each type of oil has many other benefits.
Avocado oil – suitable for all hair types
Avocado oil contains beneficial fatty acids and minerals for hair. But the reason why avocado oil is so good for dry and damaged hair is because it contains biotin, a protein that moisturizes and regenerates hair. Avocado oil also contains vitamin E, which prevents breakage by strengthening the hair cuticle. Use it as a leave-in treatment in the evening.
Coconut oil
Coconut oil is already considered a wonder product with incredible beauty benefits. In terms of hair care, coconut oil acts as a protector against heat, repairs damaged hair and burnt ends, helps prevent hair loss and helps hair growth.
Due to its properties, coconut oil stays in the hair and retains moisture, which is why it is one of the most effective hair treatments. It nourishes the hair, smoothes it and strengthens it from root to tip.
Jojoba oil
Jojoba oil is extracted from the jojoba plant and is great for hair, its chemical structure being similar to the chemical structure of the oil that is produced naturally by our scalp (sebum). So, most likely, our scalp will easily accept this oil without any side effects.
Like coconut oil, jojoba oil moisturizes the hair to the inside, treats split hairs, removes dandruff and treats dry scalp problems, gives shine and fineness to the hair.
Argan oil
Everyone talks about argan oil, but very few people really know what “argan” is. Well, argan is a tree – it makes nuts (nuts), from which the oil is extracted.
Argan oil is also known as Moroccan oil and works wonders if used for hair care. Just a few drops of oil protect the hair from heat, nourish the hair, moisturizing it from the inside out. This oil is recommended for dry and brittle hair.
Also, argan oil fixes rebellious hair, leaving it soft and easy to style.
No wonder it is called “liquid gold” in the cosmetic world. This oil is not as greasy as coconut oil, which means it is perfect to use more often (every wash or morning, before arranging your hair).
Castor oil
Castor oil comes from castor beans and, indeed, helps hair grow with all the vital qualities such as vitamin E, minerals and protein. If you buy this oil, we recommend that you choose one obtained by cold pressing (there was no form of heat involved in the extraction process) and be 100% virgin castor oil.
Castor oil has incredible benefits for hair: it stops hair loss, soothes irritated scalp, successfully removes severe dandruff (due to its anti-fungal properties), moisturizes and prevents hair breakage.
