Lana Condor, the actress from the Netflix teen-movie “To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before” doesn’t hold back from calling Donald Trump racist, even if he’s the President of the US! She spoke out against his recent COVID-19 reference as the “Chinese virus”.
She strongly advised him to “be better” than using racist and offensive language. A lot of hate crimes and discrimination against Asian and Asian American people have been reported ever since the appearance of Coronavirus. Furthermore, the National Council of Asian Pacific Americans sent Congress a letter on March 11, imploring them to denounce the racist attacks and discrimination.
In her Twitter and Instagram posts, she wrote: “Be better. To wake up to your chaos is truly a nightmare. Please. Be better. To my followers – be safe. I love you.”
In addition, she posted a message on her Instagram Story, explaining her feelings and thoughts towards Trump’s inexcusable attitude.
