Distant Past - The Final Stage

Distant Past’s album, The Final Stage, is powerful and kind of sounds like the debut of a young and hungry band, because in a sense, they are one. It’s a very collavorative effort and features accessible songwriting, great choruses to sing along, fast-paced melodies and riffs to headbang to.

The band presents an incredibly catchy classic Heavy Metal release, in the vein of Judas Priest and Iron Maiden. Some other apparent influences include Judas Priest, Bruce Dickinson and Helloween. The artwork featured on The Final Stage resembles imagery of Sci-Fi/futuristic themes with an interesting contrast to the classic flavor of their album’s sound.

My personal recommendation on The Final Stage is Path of Fate that can be listened to below:
