American singer Taylor Swift has made a decision. Although she was supposed to play on July 25 and 26 in the Sofi Stadium opening, she announced on Friday that she is canceling all of her live concerts for 2020.
“The fight against COVID-19 is an unprecedented challenge for our global community, and the safety and well-being of fans should always be our priority.”. Said Taylor Swift in a press release.
The canceled shows will be rescheduled for 2021. The construction of the arena continued despite the coronavirus epidemic.
As a result, two of the workers who helped build the stadium were tested positive with COVID-19.
