Top 10 famous songs from the 2000s that will brings you nostalgia
Recently I felt really bored, so I’ve decided to search on Youtube some old songs that were really popular in my childhood. I’ve heard them everywhere: at cafes, restaurants, supermarkets, even at the beach. And now that I’ve listened to them again, I can remember those good times, when I used to memorize the titles of the song, just to download them on my MP4 player and enjoy those masterpieces over and over again.

There are plenty of songs from the 2000s, but these are the best ones that I can remember, and I hope you also had a great time listening to them!

1. Say It Right by Nelly Furtado

This song was really catchy, especially because of the instrumental. The lyrics weren’t as joyful as the rhythm of the song, but when I was little, I had no idea what she was talking about in that song, I just enjoyed it.

2. Hips Don’t Lie by Shakira feat. Wyclef Jean

Who didn’t like Shakira’s songs? They were absolutely great for parties! I remember I was trying to dance like her, she really had some amazing moves. And this song proved her talent and skills.

3. Party in the U.S.A. by Miley Cyrus

I think everyone who watched the famous series Hannah Montana will have at least an idea about this song and about who is Miley Cyrus. As a child, I used to watch Disney Channel every day, they put this song on repeat and every time I heard the song, I started dancing and singing to it.

4. Candy Shop by 50 Cent feat. Olivia

This one is really a masterpiece! You can’t say you’ve never heard of it, the song was really popular in those years. And it’s still catchy even today! I hear this song not only in shopping malls but also on Tik Tok and Instagram. This song is the definition of good old times.

5. Right Now (Na Na Na) by Akon

I can say I heard this song every time I was going to the beach. They put it on the speakers at bars and markets for people to have a great day laying on the sand or playing volley with their friends while listening to it. When I’ve heard this song again, the first things that came to my mind were the memories of my childhood summers.

6. Umbrella by Rihanna feat. JAY-Z

I really loved Rihanna’s songs when I was young, and I still love them. Her voice impresses me every time I listen to her songs. And this one is really catchy, once you listen to it, you can’t stop. And I’m so happy to hear it also today in different places and on different social media apps.

7. Bad Romance by Lady Gaga

Another song that you definitely need to know. It’s still a very popular song and the lyrics are really easy to remember. Even though the music video was really scary for me and I wasn’t able to watch it when I was listening to this song on TV music channels, the song was good and I still like it.

8. It’s My Life by Bon Jovi

I’m not a fan of rock music, even though I enjoy listening to any genre, but this song was truly something. I didn’t meet a person who said that this song wasn’t good. Everyone loved this song, I remember I used to sing to this song when it was played on the radio and I was on a trip with my family.

9. Without Me by Eminem

My brother was a big fan of Eminem and he made me listen to his songs. I’ve only known 2 or 3 that I’ve heard on the radio, but after he gave me a playlist of all of his songs I’ve started listening to them as well. But I remember I’ve heard this song for the first time on the radio and I loved the instrumental of the song and his rap flow.

10. This Love by Maroon 5

One of my favourite bands since I was little! Their songs are always to my taste and this song was the first one I heard from them. Hearing it again reminds me of the moments when I listened to the song every time it was playing on the radio and couldn’t help but sing it with all my heart.

Did I make you feel nostalgic? I definitely felt like this while I was making the list. If your favourite song or singer doesn’t appear, here is a video of a list of 2000s songs:
