Popular trends of 2020! As this year is coming to an end, I was thinking about all of the things we collectively did to pass time. There’s a high possibility you must have followed at least two of the trends that I’m about to mention. So, here’s a few popular trends of 2020 that we all tried at home:

Making Dalgona coffee
Can you believe that all it took for this to become a thing was a Tik Tok video?! I miss making Dalgona coffee! I don’t know why I stopped, to be honest. Whisking all that instant coffee and water mix got pretty tiring. But I’m sure the majority of people have tried making this delicious yet very sugary iced coffee. Maybe I’ll do it again in the near future.
Pictures, videos and boomerangs of fresh and right-out-of-the-oven bread was something that I saw on everyone’s Instagram stories. Even my mom baked way too much bread this year. And that’s something she has never done before. On the other hand, my sister has become obsessed with baking banana bread. I definitely blame the gain weight on them.
Many of us became lazier this year. Maybe some of us gained or lost weight. So, in order to stay in shape, people (like me) followed Chloe Ting’s two-week challenges on YouTube. And probably gave up on doing these workouts after one try.
The demand for puzzles was very high this year, according to many puzzle manufacturers. Even though this is an activity that never loses its magic, doing puzzles has become one of the most popular trends of 2020. It’s a very fun form of entertainment and nothing beats the satisfaction of finally putting all of the puzzle pieces together.
This year has been pretty weird, right? Looking back on it, I feel like time is going too fast. I wonder what 2021 will bring.
