Nostalgic Childhood Animations You Forgot Existed Part 2

If you’re looking for even more nostalgic animations, you have come to the right place!

  • W.I.T.C.H.

Cornelia, Irma, Hay, Will, and Taranee are not your regular teenage girls – they are the guardians of the 5 elements: water, fire, earth, air, and energy. Using their unique strength, they all fight to protect the center of the universe, Kandraka, from evil creatures. That’s a big responsibility for a 16-year-old girl if you ask me!
The animation follows their adventures as they get accustomed to their newly discovered powers and deal with their personal lives and issues.

  • Shuriken School

This cartoon showcases the incredible adventures of Eizan Kaburagi and his friends as they attend ninja training classes. However, the school they go to is quite under-funded, but that doesn’t stop them from having as much fun as they can and becoming better and better at ninja skills.

Personally, I believe this is one of the more underrated animations given how entertaining it was and still is.

  • Totally Spies!

This is probably one of those animations most of us remember best as the 3 main characters are some of the most iconic animations to this day!

Sam, Clover, and Alex are 3 high-school students from Beverly Hills High who have been selected by WOOHP, a secret government organization to fight crime around the world. With their amazing gadgets and incredible skills, they are some of the most badass female characters. And I think it’s safe to say, as girls (or boys), we all wanted to be one of them.

However, they don’t only fight crime as their personal life is also thoroughly captured in this series. Drama is on the rise on all fronts, and their unique personalities always work together to save and help each other in any situation.

  • Xiaolin Showdown

As martial arts students, Omi, Kimiko, Raimundo, and Clay train all day and improve their skills to find magical artifacts known as Shen Gong Wu before they get stolen by Jack Spicer and other evil characters. Their plan is to take over the world and use the powerful relics in destructive ways. However, under their master’s guidance, the 4 kids work as a team to fight those evil forces. But things don’t always go their way.

  • The Grim Adventures of Billy & Mandy

Billy and Mandy are two friends who are polar opposites: while Mandy is an angsty, pessimistic character, Billy is a very positive, yet naïve kid. But soon their duo becomes a trio when they befriend no one other than the Grim Reaper. The mismatched pair of friends go on countless adventures together, which sometimes include various otherworldly creatures, sometimes it’s just every-day troubles they get themselves into. Nevertheless, this creative concept never fails to amuse the viewer.

  • Foster’s Home for Imaginary Friends

If you’ve ever had an imaginary friend, it probably ended up in Foster’s Home for Imaginary Friends too. So, just in case you were worried about it, they’re doing great.

When kids either outgrow or get bored of their imaginary friend, Madame Foster takes them into her home. Therefore, you can only imagine the unique characters in that mansion! Imaginary friends stay there until they are either adopted or taken back by their rightful owner. That is the case for the main character, Mac, and his imaginary friend, Bloo. Mac comes to visit his friend every day, but the animation also focuses on the rest of the characters who are just as important.

Friendship is one of the main focuses of the show and even though the characters in that house are so diverse that they sometimes don’t even speak the same language, friendship breaks all barriers and obstacles. As they go on their fascinating adventures, they never leave each other behind.

  • Cow and Chicken

A very peculiar pair of siblings, a Cow and her little brother, Chicken navigate through life while being messed with by the villain of the animation, Red Guy. He is a devilish character whose only purpose is to intervene in the siblings’ lives and make it miserable. But not to worry, they always come to the other’s rescue. However, given that Cow is very innocent she is usually the one that needs to be rescued by Chicken. Talk about a confusing cartoon!
