2Minneapolis police chief breaks the silence and expresses his thoughts through an emotional speech for CNN. In his opinion, all four officers who were involved in George Floyd’s death bear responsibility for their actions.
“Silence and inaction, you’re complicit. If there was one solitary voice that would have intervened … that’s what I would have hoped for.”, said Chief Medaria Arradondo. “Mr. Floyd died in our hands and so I see that as being complicit.”
There have been many crimes against black people over the years but this time, America takes action for George Floyd’s unfair death. And so, many cities across the US are now protesting and supporting the “Black Lives Matter” movement, demanding justice for people of color. Some of the protests were peaceful and others sparked fire, in the true sense of the word.

The four policemen involved in Floyd’s case were fired on Tuesday and Chauvin, the one who kneeled on George’s neck for almost nine minutes was charged on Friday with second-degree manslaughter and third-degree murder.
The Minneapolis police chief named George’s murder a “violation of humanity” and made some more emotional statements regarding the killing.
