Kenny Rogers died Friday night, at 81 years old, according to a statement posted by his family on his twitter account. He died peacefully at home in Sandy Springs, Ga., of natural causes at 10:25 p.m., the statement said.

But who was Kenny Rogers?

Rogers’s career spanned six decades and he sold more than 100 million records worldwide. He was a legend. He made people fall in love with his biggest hits such as “The Gambler” “Lady” “Islands in the Stream” and “Lucille”. The country icon will always live through his music and fans. Rest in peace, legend.
