Chainsaw Man

News about a possible upcoming anime adaptation are stirring up the manga community. However, what about the manga itself? It seems like your usual isekai or shounen series. After Denji inherits his father debt from the yakuza upon his father’s death, he becomes a Devil Hunter to repay the debt. However, the yakuza betrays him (duh, they’re the mafia dudes) and he dies. End of story. Nah, just kidding. Our guy Denji has a contract with a demon so he can turn into a half human-half chainsaw hybrid and becomes a Public Safety Demon Hunter. Why? Welp, this remains to be seen! Be careful though, it’s a pretty explicit and gore-y series.

Angel Densetsu

Let’s dive into the comedy isle, shall we? This manga is about Kitano Seiichirou, “a very kind and pure-hearted young man, with a horrifying, monstrous face. People being what they are, they think he’s a terrifying delinquent, and there are plenty of misunderstandings (coupled with Kitano’s inability to understand what’s happening around him) that propel him into the position of “school guardian”, a.k.a. head thug on campus” (-Ronel, Facebook). This series is already completed, with aver 80 chapters waiting for you to read them!
