Today Google services were hit by a global outage which affected apps related to Google and its servers. We are talking about YouTube, Google Meet, Gmail, Google Maps, Google Drive, Play Store and more. This has mainly affected European countries, the US, India, Australia, and Japan.
Even though the outage was not around for a long period of time, it has affected millions of users and their schedules. Such outages are rare, but when they happen, everything flips outside down.
45 minutes later, users reported that the services are finally working again, fact which has been stated by Google itself.
Today, at 3.47AM PT Google experienced an authentication system outage for approximately 45 minutes due to an internal storage quota issue. This was resolved at 4:32AM PT, and all services are now restored.
