Dr. Anthony Fauci, the director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases and White House coronavirus task force member, talked about Coronavirus on Wednesday. He stated that he’s convinced the US will fight Coronavirus during the second part of the year as well.
“I am convinced of that because of the degree of transmissibility that it has, the global nature. What happens with that will depend on how we’re able to contain it when it occurs,” Fauci stated, according to Fox News.
Many reports state that without a vaccine or treatment, reopening and reversing the lockdown measures will be a gradual process. Georgia Republican Gov. Brian Kemp’s plan to reopen some businesses didn’t sit well with President Trump. The President said he “disagrees strongly”. In Georgia, gyms and barbershops will reopen, among other businesses.

Earlier this month, Fauci said he can’t guarantee it will be safe to vote in November. His current prediction is consistent with what he said back then.
