Creating a Morning Routine

I know it’s hard to build a morning routine. That’s why I wanted to write such an article. I hope it will be a bit of an inspiration for you. Depending on your goal, you will focus your mind in different things; maybe in setting a routine or having a schedule for something that requires less time.

1. Wake up early.

I know it’s hard to get up early. But it is still important to get up early to get ready for the morning and not forget anything. If you normally get up at 9, don’t try to wake up at 6 at once. First, get up at 8:30. Then at 8 am… So slowly you will get used to getting up early. Process takes time and it is completely fine if everything doesn’t come up right from the start. Of course, it’s also important to go to bed early.

2. Don’t check your phone first thing in the morning.

If your notifications can wait all night, they can wait another 10 minutes. Don’t worry, they’re not going anywhere. Over time, we’ve all became more and more dependent on the phone and I think that we should reserve our mornings for ourselves only.

3. Drink hot water and lemon.

The lemon and hot water you will drink in the morning will both regulate the digestive system and helps you lose weight. It also freshens you and helps you wake up faster. You can easily replace hot water with cold water or add mint and all sort of fruits or vegetables.

4. Get sweaty.

I agree that sweating is not popular. But still, don’t be afraid to sweat during the sport. Because, you’ll both get rid of toxins in your body and regulate your circulation system. Also, it helps you to de-stress. Create a whole routine on your own with different exercises that can help you in the morning. You can choose some to wake you up or to help you lose weight and gain the body that you want. Yoga is also a great replacement.

5. Take a shower.

Especially cold water improves your metabolism, reduce depression, keeps skin and hair healthy and increase your energy. Still, try not to be sick. If you can not get the whole shower with cold water, at least try to do it for 1-2 minutes.

6. Set your goals for the day.

Writing things you need to do during the day, helps you remember important things. Also, knowing what you will do helps you to act accordingly during the day. When I write the things I need to do, I don’t forget them and I feel more motivated to do. It feels really good to see finishing a task.

7. Eat breakfast.

Breakfast, as you know, is the most important meal of the day. If you are not sure what you are going to eat, you can get help from internet or from different magazines. Eating breakfast in the morning can help you get your mind off food and concentrate on every goal you need to reach.
