A bad haircut: 3 creative ways to hide it.

A bad haircut: 3 creative ways to hide it.

A bad haircut is not the end of the world. However, if you really love your hair it might be a little hard to get over this. It might seem like you can’t do anything about it.

Everyone wanted to try cutting their own bangs at least once. And some of us really did it. Of course, when you do this for the first time, the results are disastrous. And hiding them might prove to be really hard.

If you made the mistake of cutting your own hair, as a person who went through this, I have some tips for you.

1. Try using some fancy hair clips or pins.

The good news is that cutting your bangs is way more different than cutting your hair. It’s way easier to hide your bangs, and even if you completely ruined them there’s still hope because they grow pretty fast. It’s not like it can’t be repaired. And in the meantime, you can use some cute hair clips or a fancy barrette to keep them in place and nobody will even know. I personally love the big ones with fake pearls because of how fancy they make you look.

2. Wear a headscarf or a bandana to hide your haircut.

Cottagecore inspired hair scarfs are really stylish and everyone loves them. They are really easy to find and not that expensive. And the best part is that they can cover all your mistakes, looking really cute at the same time. There came in a variety of colors and patterns and it’s really easy to get one that matches your outfit.

3. Hairspray might be your holy grail.

You can also use a good hairspray to kinda ’’glue’’ them backward or make them stay in place on the side. This is something I personally tried and it really worked. Of course, you can add a headband to really make sure that your little secret won’t be exposed at the wrong time. In addition to this, letting some of your baby hairs out and carefully styling them using hairspray will give you a really cute look.

Learning to accept it it’s always a good thing. It’s just a bad haircut, nothing serious, nothing that can’t be fixed somehow. Yes, it might look pretty crazy. But the hair will grow. Laughing with your friends about it really helps to take your mind off what happened. And you can go to a hairstylist to try and style them anytime. See? It’s not that bad. And it’s not something that can’t be fixed. The best thing you can do is give it some time. You are still you, no matter how your haircut looks like.
