If you are anything like me, you like to know what happens on YouTube commentary channels or on the internet in general. As I don’t have enough time to simply catch up with everything, I watch YouTube commentary channels.
The YouTube commentary channels I will be mentioning in this article are mostly focused on internet and pop culture.
D’Angelo used to make videos about art and the art community in general. However, at some point in time, he decided to become a commentary channel. And it was a change that was beneficial for everyone.
He does a great job at both reporting current events and making them appealing. He has made various long-form video essays on internet personalities such as Jeffree Star or Shane Dawson, but he also makes shorter, 10-minute episodes that usually cover a topic for the day.
Similar to D’Angelo Wallace, Luke Alexander is another YouTube commentary channel about current events and drama that’s going on the internet.
He usually makes shorter videos discussing the events, but he often times tackles things from pop culture, such as Twilight.
She is a YouTuber that does more analyzing than commentary. Her videos often center around both individuals and internet phenomena, like the “not like the other girls” trend.
Although her videos are quite an information heavy, Tiffany Ferg is still easy to watch and enjoyable all around. She seems both professional and kind in her videos, where she tries to combine both entertainment and analysis.
Kurtis Conner is a YouTuber that especially focuses both on internet phenomena, such as “soft boys”, and niche pop culture things.
His videos tend to be in a much more comedic tone, but he still makes good points and fairly critiques people like misogynistic pick-up artists and overall toxic people.
I hope you will take some time to enjoy these YouTube commentary channels. For more recommendations, check out our other articles on the subject.
