Everybody loves stickers! Even if these sticky things are small or big, glittery or glossy, a sticker will always make your phone, laptop or notebook look fancy and colourful. 
However, there are moments when you want to have new stickers, but you don’t want to buy new ones, to save your money. Personally, I’m not particularly keen on buying every time new stickers because, at some point, I will have to throw them away and I usually regret doing this. I like to do my own stickers because I can do whatever design I want, make a lot of stickers without paying too much and when I don’t like them anymore, I don’t feel bad about getting rid of them, I can always make new ones.
Therefore, I decided to give you three easy steps to make your own unique stickers:
1. Make your design
There are two possibilities that I’ve tried while making stickers. One of them is to make your own design using pencils, markers, collages, and any other painting and drawing materials that will help you create a nice sticker. Draw your design on paper and cut it in the shape you want.
Another technique is to use the help of photoshop and drawing apps from your laptop or phone. The results will be even better, but you will need to print them and if you don’t have a printer at home, it will cost a bit to use one from shops.
On the other hand, if you are not a great artist, you can always search for some cute models from different apps, like Pinterest, and print them. Of course, the problem of having a printer will apply to this possibility as well.
2. Ways of making them sticky
Now comes the important part: how do we make them sticky? Well, I found 3 ways, but I use only one. Here, the choice is up to you.
The first easy way is to simply use an app that will print your stickers on a special kind of paper and all you have to do is cut them by yourself. This technique is the most professional one, but at the same time, the most expensive way of having stickers.
Another way, which I personally prefer the most, is to use a double tape. Tape one of its parts, cut it and it’s done. When you want to put it somewhere, just peel off the other side of the double tape. And if you want your stickers to be waterproof, use some transparent tape and place it on top of your sticker. This method will take some time, but it won’t cost you too much.
And the last technique I found is to use transparent tape and parchment paper. Stick the transparent tape on the parchment paper, put the design of your sticker on top of it, place another piece of tape on top of the design, and then cut it. It is easy, but it’s not my favourite way to do it.
3. Optional: use glitter or other stuff to make it look fancy and original
This part won’t be as important as the first two, it will only make your stickers stand out.
If you like glitter, you can always glue it on top of the design before using the transparent tape. You can buy as well some holographic overlays, or decorate it with some cute tapes with designs. You just have to be creative!
Here are the steps to make some wonderful stickers, without wasting money. And the best part is that you can do them in your own original way!
