I recommended you some places to visit in Buzau county, all places near the county seat (also called Buzau). Now I want to talk a bit about the city, and the three parks that you could visit here.
Tineretului Park from Buzau
Translated as The park for young people. This is the place to go if you want to feel young again, or if you have children.
There are three playgrounds for the little ones, and plenty of benches if you want to sit and supervise your kid playing. Between two playgrounds there is a place for bikes, with a couple of ramps, and plenty of space to race your friends.

Near the third playground, there is a former pool (no longer open), but a couple of restaurants where you could feel the Romanian spirit and eat some mici and drink beer. There are also some ping pong tables, tennis courts, a basketball court, and football gates.
You can walk near the lake and listen to music or enjoy the new fountains that make you feel like you are in another country. Or you could go to the love bridge and put a locket there.
During the summer you can go to the private pool found in the park (sometimes they organize a night club here), or go to the free outdoor cinema where you can see old Romanian movies or even more recent Hollywood movies.
Crang

Translated as Little forest. Crang has a special place in my heart because of the proximity to my house, thus I have visited this park more.
There are two entries to this park, one gate is found at the end of the biggest boulevard in Buzau and if you chose this path you will walk on the beautiful, arranged paths that in the past were for carriages. Or you can choose the road through the forest (at the end there is the ice rink from Buzau).
This is the perfect place to go on a sunny day because the shade provided by the trees is excellent for anyone.
Again, there are three playgrounds (only one is private), tons of restaurants (the oldest dates back to 1897 and looks like an old house; the most interesting is the one found in the middle of the lake).
The mayor organised some natural ramps in the forest for teenagers to use (a lot safer than when I was a teenager and we tripped over the roots and stones).
There is also a place for senior citizens where they can go and play some chess provided that they bring the pieces (the chess table is already there) (actually, any chess lover can go).
In the winter the Children’s town is organised, painted images on wood with the most beautiful stories (Romanian and foreign) await children to discover them, and Santa Claus (or Mos Craciun) is there to listen to the kid’s wishes.
Marghiloman Park
And, of course, the most beautiful park shall be the last to be presented.
In the past, this area belonged to Alexandru Marghiloman and now only his villa, the paths, and the lake are the proof of the once admired by the royal family park. The queen of Romania loved to come to his estate and pick flowers and strawberries (historians from Buzau found where the flowers grew but are still clueless about the strawberries).

The wide paths were perfect for carriages ride (Marghiloman loved horses). Sadly, some parts of his villa are ruined after no one took care of it during the communist regime, but one building was restored and now multiple after schools’ activities are held here.
To keep the traditions, there is a playground, but bike lovers have no place here. However, it is a very romantic place to take a walk near the lake and admire the park. And if you come on a Saturday, you might see a bride and then you can make a wish. But if you come at night you might see the ghost of Marghiloman in his carriage.
